Working in player personnel positions are competitive and often requires you to be a former athlete or coach yourself. Having an extensive amount of sport knowledge is necessary.

Working in player personnel requires you to support the players, recruit and scout, as well as provide evaluations on the players.

They are crucial in the development of the team and the individuals on the team.
